Okay, well this certainly explains why neither I nor my mom had the slightest idea what the hell my brother was talking about when he came home with math questions. I learned the traditional method and had, at the very least, mastered multiplication by third grade, though I was advanced at math in fairness. This thing isn’t joking about total dependence today on calculators… I don’t think I was allowed one in a math class until seventh grade or so.

I’ll admit I still suck at my 7-times tables, but that’s an extra half-second, not a ten-minute search for a calculator.

Hmm… £19.99 plus £7.99 shipping sounds like a pittance in order to gain a sweet - legitimate - title. Well, sounds like a pittance until I remembered how crappy the dollar is to the Pound, but still, $54.18 isn’t that bad. Maybe after the next paycheck comes in, seeing that I just dropped nearly a grand at Amazon (avoid - SO damn slow, though Newegg has spoiled me greatly) on a Digital Rebel XTi and some other goodies.
